Introduction: Winston is the school's newspaper that writes about the school news, lifestyle, reviews, etc. I am part of the lifestyle group and I write articles based on healthy living.​

​

L.O.'s:

  • LO2 - Joining Winston was a challenge for myself to improve on my writing because English wasn't my strongest subject. I had acquired the skills of communicating with different heads and writers to attain different ideas for writing.

  • LO5 - I had to work with peers to come up with different and more creative ideas on what types of articles to write. Communicating with different people from different groups allowed me to see how to write articles in different approaches to attract different types of people. I had to listen respectfully to the proposals of the editors once they've read my articles.

During Winston today:

  • Wrote my “Will ‘Dreams Come True’ with Disneyland coming to the Philippines?” Article to publish on the Winston magazine

  • Was able to finish the article that day and submitted to the Winston editors

I wrote an article during Winston today about 10 tips for students to live a healthier lifestyle. This is written through my own experiences and on the things I regretted not doing at the times I was stressed with work, such as making sure I had enough sleep to be more aware during classes in school the next day or making a checklist of all the things I have to complete during the day. I hope this article I’ve written would be helpful to some readers when it’ll be published.

They put up my article in Winston’s website today, and I was able to see it posted under the category “latest posts”. My article was about “10 ways for students to live a healthier lifestyle”. Today, I also discussed with the Winston summer issue layout designer of how I want my next article to be formatted when my article will get published in the new issue coming out June.
